People often only think of themselves. Or their well-being. I’ve been through so much with so many, rarely choosing me.

I am thankful for God and his healing powers. I’ve beat grief, depression, and loss of self and others. On this journey, I have met so many. Each played an intricate role in my development and learning hard lessons. No matter the tides that turned or how they turned, I knew.

Living in today is joy. When the world around me is coming out or still trying. I find myself happy and whole. Unattached and detached from people, places, and things.

That is something I often tell folks. Unattach yourself from people, places, and things. Those who have a spiritual eye and understand some things see the layers in this. Everything and everyone carries spirits. People. Places. And Things! One must be wise in what we plug into. What and who we allow to plug into us and where we spread our gifts.

Living alone in a foreign land, among an unfamiliar people, with a foreign language–God’s grace is keeping me. Christ’s wisdom. And the covering of the Holy Spirit. But make no mistake, individual action must align with theirs as well.

My thankfulness goes to my friends and family for their lifting prayers. For their open ears and hearts, caring gestures, and remembering to express the same intensity of love that I do. One must remember to keep God, servanthood, and tithing at the forefront of all things in all ways and always.

At all times, remember that your wholeness is a priority. While some think this is a mental thing, the spiritual also plays a critical role. Keep sight of self when living in the moment, a space, or striving towards ambitious goals. Listen to and interpret things as they are. For you didn’t miss it when you heard it the first time.

I am thankful for my mother’s growth, love, and foundational guidance. I am forever grateful for the seeds of my aunt, who is beyond this place of wrath and tears. And my uncle for still shepherding me. Daily, my aunt’s seeds flourish in us, and her gift spread to us all. Now we are so alive and well. I adore the gift of sight and interpretation and the blessing of King James’ tongue. Some folks won’t get it, but when you see, you know. And when I see you, I see you and your attachments.

As you move forward, gate keep your stuff while asking for guidance and allow the holy spirit to protect you. There are some things you can do, but other things are heavenly battles fought daily for and around you.

Use your gifts and know – and never forget to protect your deliverance.
