Every day is a fight. And all fights are not battles.

The struggle of waking up on time and then battling your allergies won’t go over well.

After, centering yourself in gratefulness and giving God glory through your prayers helps.

A little gospel music. Praise and worship to stay in sync. Then, trying to avoid social media or the clutter of everyone else’s thoughts.

Breath. Breeze. Lay there, find the balance.

Before the fight starts – build your strength.

With thoughts lingering and your body finding its harmony. You just want to own the day.

Walk, stretch, run the water, freshen up, brush up, rinse and get right.

One must be fresh for the journey ahead.

It’s morning. In the morning a new fight begins.

When the sun shines the garbage trucks roar. Dumpster slams plague the singing of the seagulls. Horns honk, and the buses start their chatter.

Ugh, the noise disturbs finding the day’s cadence but reminds me that the fight is a head.

Keep your mind clear. Stay focused. You have to fight.

It may not be a walk in the park. It just might be the wrong place or time. And still, you’ll have to fight.

Let’s grab some coffee. Chow down on fruit. Up that energy so you are prepared because you still have to fight.

Now your up. And going a bit. Keep in mind that you have to fight.
