Since he was a kid, Antorris Williams knew he had special creative talents, which he knew came from God. Whether it was drawing, writing in a journal (a consequence for talking too much), or helping his mom with events, his skills opened doors of favor for him as he grew up. Antorris is from Belle Glade, Florida, and works in public service as a communications leader. He’s currently a graduate student at Eastern Washington University, studying organizational leadership.

Antorris loves writing and is passionate about helping people understand the importance of clear communication. He is an alumnus of Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he studied public relations and graphic design. He was involved in various activities, like the Student National Alumni Association (SNAA), class cabinet, Campus Activities Board, Relay for Life, PRodigiy PR Firm, and more.

Antorris enjoys communicating and planning events. He’s organized events for organizations like The United States Student Association (USSA), The Academia Society, Inc. (TAS), Seattle Management Association (SMA) and his University’s homecoming. These experiences helped him perfect skills like negotiating contracts, event logistics, travel planning, budgeting, and promoting events.

He has also written for newspapers and magazines and won awards at national, state, and local levels. Professionally, he’s worked in art direction and graphic design, from designing bus advertisements to creating a large mascot head for his University’s Student Service Center exterior entrance. He has experience in crisis communication, dealing with situations like hurricanes and the Covid-19 pandemic; and building communications programs inclusive of style guides, protocols, guidance, and communication plans.

In his free time, Antorris is involved with The Academia Society, Inc., where he’s the National First Vice President of Programs. Between his work on the board of directors, solving complex operational problems to support membership, and mentoring members, he stays busy. He’s set to become the next National President and CEO on July 1, 2024.

Antorris currently lives in Seattle, Washington.
